Israel Shamir on 9/11: “The Afro-Americans did it”

Ever since 9/11, Russian-Israeli writer/researcher Israel Shamir has stepped into the spotlight as an authority on Zionist criminality with a trilogy of books purportedly exposing the Talmud, Kabbala, etc. But a closer look at Shamir’s writing -- given what we now know about Israeli complicity in the events of 9/11 -- exposes him as an agent of disinformation. “The kamikaze [9/11 perpetrators] could be practically anybody..,” he writes on his website (israelshamir.net). “They could be Native Americans returning to Manhattan, or Afro-Americans who still have not received compensation for slavery.”
Given this little piece of absurdity, the well-informed reader can safely assume that Shamir -- like so many of the other damage-controllers that play down Israeli involvement in 9/11 (Alex Jones!) -- is little more a professional liar.
The 800lb. Gorilla poses this thought: could Shamir have been intended to replace the great Israel Shahak, who -- along with having the almost exact same name -- also authored a trilogy of books exposing the Jewish conspiracy?
Given the overwhelming evidence implicating Israeli operatives (along with US secret-government counterparts) in the attacks of 9/11, Shamir’s statements are ludicrous on their very face.
“The kamikaze could be practically anybody: American Nationalists, American Communists, American Fundamentalist Christians, American Anarchists, anybody who rejects the twin gods of the dollar and the M-16, who hates the stock market and interventions overseas, who dreams of America for Americans, who does not want to support the drive for world domination,” Shamir writes on his website. “They could be Native Americans returning to Manhattan, or Afro-Americans who still have not received compensation for slavery.”
He continues to confuse the issue by offering as many possible conspirators as possible, no matter how ridiculous (one is reminded here of Oliver Stone's disinfo masterpiece, “JFK”).
“They could be foreigners of practically any extraction, as Wall Street and the Pentagon ruined many lives of people all over the globe,” Shamir writes. “Germans can remember the fiery holocaust of Dresden with its hundreds of thousands of peaceful refugees incinerated by the US Air Force. The Japanese will not forget the nuclear holocaust of Hiroshima. The Arab world still feels the creeping holocaust of Iraq and Palestine. Russians and East Europeans feel the shame of Belgrade. Latin Americans think of American invasions of Panama and Granada, of destroyed Nicaragua and defoliated Colombia. Asians count their dead of the Vietnam War, Cambodia bombings, Laos CIA operations in millions. Even a pro-American, Russian TV broadcaster could not refrain from saying, ‘now Americans begin to understand the feelings of Baghdad and Belgrade’.”
“The Riders,” he adds, presumably meaning the 9/11 perpetrators, “could be anybody who lost his house to the bank, who was squeezed from his work and made permanently unemployed...”
Now there’s an image! The smashing of the twin towers and partial destruction of the Pentagon was carried out by a rogue group of disgruntled, down-on-their-luck former home-owners!
“They could be Russians, Malaysians, Mexicans, Indonesians, Pakistanis, Congolese, Brazilians, Vietnamese, as their economy was destroyed by Wall Street and the Pentagon,” Shamir continues. “They could be anybody, and they are everybody. Their identity is quite irrelevant as their message is more important than their personalities, and their message is read loud and clear in the choice of targets.”
“Their identity is quite irrelevant” -- that’s an odd thing to say for someone presumably trying to get to the bottom of the grand conspiracy.
But we’ve seen this tactic before: remember what liar Noam Chomsky said when pressed on 9/11? He said that, ultimately, the identity of the 9/11 perpetrators -- like the identity of JFK’s killers -- “doesn’t matter.”
Laughably, the one group Shamir is willing to definitively say did not have a role in 9/11 is -- you guessed it -- “the Mossad and/or the Jews.”
“I can’t accept the Mossad and/or the Jews as the perpetrators of the 9/11, not because it is an anti-Semitic claim. My readers know that this consideration has never stopped me before,” he writes. “It’s the other way around: I consider it a deeply pro-Jewish claim implying that only Jews are capable of enterprises of great pith and moment, while others prefer to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and never take arms against a sea of troubles. In a way, the Jewish perpetration theory shows how far this belief in Jewish superiority has entered the hearts of Americans and of many Muslims: ‘if it was done and it did not flop, it’s got to be Jews.’ We Israelis are more critical; we say ‘if it did not flop, it can’t be the Mossad’.”
So there you have it: according to this “truth-teller,” the Mossad/Jews are too stupid to carry off such an elaborate plan. How is it then, Mr. Shamir, that this same group is able -- despite its tiny numbers -- to take over the governments, economies and industries of the entire planet?
Like so many other disinfo agents, Shamir does occasionally provide good material on certain aspects of the conspiracy. But when push comes to shove -- when it comes to Israel’s obvious role in 9/11 -- he reveals his hand to all and sundry.
“They could be anybody, and they are everybody,” he says of the perpetrators. Give me a break! If you can’t smell a rat from this sentence alone, you might as well pack it in.
Here’s an idea: could Shamir have been meant to replace Israel Shahak, the heroic Jewish Israeli author who had exposed Talmudic criminality for years before Shamir’s arrival onto the scene? (As Alex Jones, perhaps, was meant to replace Bill Cooper?)
In his must-read trilogy (Jewish History, Jewish Religion, 1994; Open Secrets, 1997; and Jewish Fundamentalism in Israel, 1999), Shahak blew the lid wide off the Jewish criminal cabal, exposing the sordid policies of Israel’s military/nuclear establishment and revealing the true meaning of the Jewish Talmud and Kabbala. His frequent use of Hebrew-language sources -- unavailable in other languages -- is particularly devastating. Shahak was also one of the few personalities to oppose Israel’s campaign against Ahmed Rami’s Radioislam.org.
Unfortunately, Shahak died suddenly of “diabetes complications” at the age of 68, only months before the 9/11 attacks in 2001. In the seven years since, however, newcomer Shamir has conveniently stepped in to fill the void, quickly assuming Shahak’s place as the best-known Israeli critic of Jewish criminality and conspiracy.
Note the similarity between their names -- Israel Shahak and Israel Shamir, easily confused at first glance (only three letters’ difference!) -- and the fact that Shamir, just like Shahak, wrote a trilogy of books purporting to expose the Jewish conspiracy (“The Flowers of Galilee,” “Cabbala of Power” and “Masters of Discourse”).
One wonders what Shahak, whose books and articles remain essential reading for anyone who wants to know the awful truth, would have made of 9/11. We’ll never know for sure, but I’m more than certain he would have drawn conclusions vastly dissimilar to those of his unworthy -- and dishonest -- successor.
