Finally, a 9/11 book that addresses the attacks’ most important element: the direct involvement of Israel. Along with details of Israel’s lead role in the events of 9/11, author Victor Thorn reveals how the so-called “9/11 Truth Movement” has been co-opted by Zionist interests with the aim of steering suspicion away from Israel and her many agents in the US government.

As a critic of Zionism and as an opponent of Jewish exclusivity, Israel Shahak is special. He possesses in-depth knowledge of Israeli society, Jewish culture and the history of his people. His humanitarian concerns and commitments are extensive; his work as a human rights campaigner in the state of Israel is enormous. His impressive ability to analyze problems rationally may be partially attributed to his scientific training and his many years of teaching and doing research in organic chemistry at Jerusalem's Hebrew University.

Since the spring of 1992 public opinion in Israel is being prepared for the prospect of a war with Iran, to be fought to bring about Iran's total military and political defeat. In one version, Israel would attack Iran alone, in another it would "persuade" the West to do the job. The indoctrination campaign to this effect is gaining in intensity. It is accompanied by what could be called semi-official horror scenarios purporting to detail what Iran could do to Israel, the West and the entire world when it acquires nuclear weapons as it is expected to a few years hence. A manipulation of public opinion to this effect may well be considered too phantasmagoric to merit any detailed description. Still, the readers should take notice, especially since to all appearances the Israeli Security System does envisage the prospect seriously. In February 1993 minutely-detailed anticipations of Iran becoming a major target of Israeli policies became intense. I am going to confine myself to a sample of recent publications (in view of the monotony of their contents it will suffice), emphasizing how they envisage the possibility of "persuading" the West that Iran must be defeated. All Hebrew papers have shared in advocacy of this madness, with exception of Haaretz which has not dared to challenge it either. The Zionist "left" papers, Davar and Al Hamishmar have particularly distinguished themselves in bellicosity on the subject of Iran; more so than the right-wing Maariv. Below, I will concentrate on the recent writings of Al Hamishmar and Maariv about Iran, only occasionally mentioning what I found in other papers.

If you read only one author on the subject of Talmudic Judaism, it ought to be Israel Shahak. In his trilogy of books on the subject, Shahak -- a highly-respected Jewish-Israeli historian/researcher and human-rights campaigner -- reveals the horrific truth behind “Talmudic ideology” and its fundamentalist, anti-gentile world-view.

Shahak’s most important academic contribution lies in the fact that he -- as a speaker of Hebrew -- is able to provide unparalleled insight into what is written in the Hebrew-language press itself about these contentious topics:

“All modern studies on Judaism, particularly by Jews, ...bear the unmistakable marks of their origin: deception, apologetics or hostile polemics, indifference or even active hostility to the pursuit of truth,” Shahak writes on Page 22 of his “Jewish History, Jewish Religion.”

Two pages later, he adds: “Modern scholars of Judaism have not only continued the deception, but have actually improved upon the old rabbinical methods, both in impudence and in mendacity.”

The Israeli lobby in Washington has successfully influenced the US Congress to give billions of non-repayable dollars each year to Israel on the premise that Israel’s loyalty and strategic importance to the United States make it an ally worthy of such unprecedented consideration.

....Is it?

The so-called neo-conservatives currently crafting US foreign policy are hardly fresh arrivals to the corridors of power. As author Michael Saba reveals in his little-known 1982 expose, the neo-con cabal, or what Saba calls the “Armageddon Network,” has been furthering Israel’s agenda in Washington -- at the expense of American interests -- since the 1970s.

The book details how, in 1978, US officials, including neo-con stalwart Richard Perle, were caught passing highly-classified defense department documents to their Israeli counterparts -- and got away with it scot-free. As Saba writes in the book’s forward: “That those involved in this affair are still ‘at large,’ and in fact currently hold senior positions in the Pentagon, is what distinguishes ‘The Armageddon Network’ from the average non-fiction account of an espionage investigation.”

It’s no secret that most if not all western “mainstream” news sources are controlled by the Zionist establishment, but -- every now and then -- a morsel of truth will bubble to the surface. “The War Party,” a 2003 documentary film by BBC Panorama, is a case-in-point.

This roughly 45-minute production attempts to explain the uncanny influence of a small clique of unelected “neo-conservatives” within the Bush administration, almost all of whom are Zionist Jews, on U.S. foreign policymaking since 9/11 -- and the central role they played in America’s drive to war against Saddam Hussein’s Iraq.

Jim Lobe, Washington correspondent and expert on the neo-conservative movement, doesn’t mince words: “It’s no secret that the majority of neo-conservatives have been and remain Jewish,” he is quoted as saying. “That is a fact.”
